These were made from 18-guage fine brass mesh. I cut two pieces,
one a bit longer and wider than the other.
...folded the edges over
rolled it up inside the mic body to hold it in place, and then solder
the top and bottom to form a tube. This took a big
iron and a lot of solder and I probably should have used some flux
to help it flow. Form the dome out of two circles
of mesh, and push this up through the tube. Solder this in place too.
The finished windscreens: The one on the left is a bit neater - it was
the second one that I made & I learned from some mistakes.
